Recommendation to Parents
  1. Parents are expected to co-operate with the School authorities in enforcing regularity in school work , maintaining consistency in discipline, in seeing that their children prepare their lessons and in taking an active part in the activities of the school.
  2. The home work diaries are signed by teachers every day, and it is the responsibility of parents too, to sign them every day. Parents will then be aware of test days/project submission, homework submission well in advance.
  3. Parents and guardians are informed that occasional remarks from the teachers are usually communicated through the Calendar. They should also keep an eye on the leave. Absence and other Records in the Calendar. Parents are strongly urged to see the Principal /Vice Principal or respective teacher when they find that their child’s performance is unsatisfactory. This should be done as early as possible. It is futile to see the Principal /Vice Principal or teachers after the results of the final examination are declared.
  4. Parents and guardians are particularly expected to sign messages, progress reports, circular or any other similar documents when so requested, failure to do so may put the child to great inconvenience and render him/her liable to be sent home.
  5. The Principal must be informed in writing if a pupil is absent on account of illness for more than a week .
  6. Parents and guardians are especially requested to notify the school of any change in their address/mobile numbers etc.
  7. When communicating with the Principal, parents are requested to mention in their letters the name, standard and division of their children.
  8. ParentsParents, guardians or other persons wishing to meet the teachers during school hours or on the School premises at other times must have the prior sanction of the Principal. An appointment with a member of the staff should be arranged only during the teacher’s free period. No parent or guardian or student is allowed to enter the staff room during or after school hours.
  9. Complaints, if any should be made to the school authorities in writing and not to the teachers or parent representative.
  10. The school has a Parent-Teacher Association. Parents who wish to contribute constructively to the development of the school are welcome to join the P.T.A.
  11. The attendance of all parents at School functions, Report days and on month end parent meetings will be deeply appreciated.
  12. Parents are urged to caution their wards on the advantages and disadvantages of being members of social networking sites like Facebook , Orkut, Hi 5 ,Twitter etc. If students are found misusing these sites to malign the reputation of the school and its staff and students and commenting indecently on these, will be expelled from school on account of gross misconduct.
  13. Parents are encouraged to donate a book to the school library on their wards birthdays. Distribution of sweets/chocolates, gifts etc. is prohibited.
Public Examination
  1. Before appearing for the C.B.S.E. Examination candidates are required to pass the Preliminary Examination held in the school.
  2. For reasons such as unsatisfactory progress in studies, irregular attendance, serious misconduct, dishonesty or absence from a test/examination, or non payment of school fees, a pupil’s name may be withdrawn from the list or candidates even though she has passed the preliminary examination.
Withdrawls
  • The guardian must gThe guardian must give a month’s notice to withdraw a child from school. The leaving certificate will be issued when all dues have been cleared.
  • L.C cannot be issued immediately on receipt of application for the same. A Minimum of seven working days will be required for the issue of the same
Fee Payment
  • School fee for the year is to be paid in two instalments.
  • Payments must be made witPayments must be made within 15 days of the due date in case the fees are not paid within this period then a fine of Rs 10/- per day will be levied.
  • Parents should ensure that the fees are paid within two months failing which the name of the students will be struck off the register.
Expectations of VPMS from Parents
  1. Provide clean, ironed and appropriate uniform to your child. The child is expected to be well groomed with proper haircut, clean and cut nails, right size uniforms, Id card and polished shoes etc.
  2. Check the calendars and note books frequently and sign when necessary.
  3. Make sure that your child attends the school on mandatory days. If that is not possible due to emergency, prior permission from the Principal should be obtained.
  4. When your child is absentWhen your child is absent during school days due to sickness or any other reason, you must send a note in the calendar.
  5. Understand the Assessment pattern and schedule of exams and plan your programmes accordingly to avoid inconvenience to the student’s academic performance.
  6. Attend all report days/Month end meetings and whenever called . It is mandatory for at least one parent to attend .
  7. Monitor your child’s academic performance throughout the year and be involved in bringing in the improvements desired.child to engage in constructive activities like reading ,solving crosswords, playing scrabble, writing reviews, etc.
  8. Ensure that your child submits the projects/ assignments on the due date.
  9. Inform the teachers of any unusual development in the family or change in the physical and emotional environment.
  10. Refrain from commenting on the teacher’s in the presence of your child.
  11. Take prior appointment to meet the teachers and avoid meeting them during the teacher’s lunch and break hours.
  12. Keep an open mind and accept responsibility when called to discuss your child’s behaviour.
  13. Frequent notes from parents requesting the school to excuse the child for not wearing appropriate uniform will not be entertained.
