STD VI- Social Science- Political Science
Rote Learning or just Lecture method cannot bring about the holistic development in a child. To ensure that concepts register in the minds of the students, ACTIVE LEARNING plays a very important role. Political Science is one such subject where the students need really understand certain aspects like their fundamental rights and duties. News papers are a good medium to help students understand this. This is an activity of Std VI where they read the news papers and segregate the articles according to the protests of the people for their rights and the response of the government. Each child therefore collects his own articles under these two criteria and paste them in their books. Thus they also update themselves with regard to the current affairs.
