A Short Skit by teachers on Healthy Teaching Habits:-
A novel way of imparting education to the young children is through skits nd what makes it more fun is the skit put up by their class teachers.
The primary teachers of VPMS put up a skit on the topic " Healthy Food and Good Habits " on 29 June 2009 in the AV room of Vikhe Patil Memorial School.
The story revolved round two sister Mini and Tina. Mini does not eat food like vegetables and chapati but just gorges on junk food ; shows scant mannerism and etiquettes at home and in class, resulting in poor results in academics and health too. Tina is an obedient child ,eats healthy food and is rewarded in academics as well as sports.
The teachers lay emphasis on drinking milk and eating vegetables, fruits ,salads and chapatis. The children grasped the lesson quickly and enjoyed it thoroughly .They kept giggling when they saw their class teachers , Mrunalini and Sheetal , in school uniforms.
In short , it was a hilarious scene with even the supervisors and other teachers laughing at the way the teachers were imitating the young ones in the classroom.
The skit ended with a jingle " We should eat veggies and fruits(3) for breakfast ,lunch and dinner".
The skit comprised of three scenes - home , school and finally the sick room.
The props were well - arranged so as to get a feel of the respective scenes.
