A new year brings not only happiness, it makes us happy with a hope to fulfill our dreams with a new beginning to our lives making the new year to be very special for everyone.


The students of STD VII  left no stone unturned to celebrate the New Year with fervor. They designed a new  year’s Calendar 2022 show casing   their expectations of the New Year. The activity brought out their creative and thinking out of box skills to devise a calendar envisaged with their own perceptions of the blissful year ahead.

The students used eco- friendly material, family photographs, colours to design the calendar with very meaningful and motivational thoughts and quotes.



To mark this upcoming festival of joy of giving ‘Christmas’ and welcoming ‘New Year’, Students of class VI, actively participated in a Party decoration activity.

Students of class VI, were guided by the teachers and they individually created various decorative items like festoons, small decoratives for Christmas tree to suit a party environment by using various decorative material easily available at home.

Students developed visual-spatial intelligence and kinaesthetic intelligence. They were deeply engaged in craftsmanship showcasing originality as they explored party decorative items

This activity proved to be a true learning experience for all the participants as every student contributed towards learning and keeping the innovative ideas of festive decoration.



The Joy of Giving Week Month End Activity Std VIII

‘Joy or happiness is a state of mind. It is a feeling that keeps people healthy and fit.’

“Money can’t bring happiness, but the joy of giving can spread happiness.” in the spirit of sharing is caring, Std VIII students of Vikhe Patil Memorial School, Pune planned to celebrate ‘The Joy of Giving Week’ from 10th December to 18th December 2021.

The students and Parents are encouraged to render help to the people in their close vicinity like the domestic help, Sweeper/Garbage collectors, watchman, children of the helpers in a form of ‘Gift a Smile’.



An activity session to make Headgear was conducted for Jr. KG students on Friday 10th December. The objective of this activity is to develop their fine motor & imaginative skills. As a learning tool, this activity has encouraged students to explore their unique creativity and they came up with new ideas to decorate their headgear with different things. Students have made the headgear using green chart paper strip and by sticking a cut out of a Christmas tree. Students have also shared their feelings wearing them after their hard work. The activity encouraged the student’s ability to communicate their feelings. This head gear will be worn by students on Christmas party too.



Children from the Pre-Primary section made a Santa Claus, X’ mas card, candle, X’mas tree and Snowman as a part of Christmas celebrations. They made an array of these craft activities during this festive month of December using resources like different coloured chart paper, streamers, decorations, and ice cream sticks,
