VPMS, Pune has always been innovative in terms of exploring new ideas and executing them qualitatively keeping in mind the holistic development of the students. During these troubled and pandemic stricken times too, without dampening the spirit and enthusiasm of the students the school came up with an excellent idea of the cultural collaboration of the students.
Students of VI A put up a wonderful performance on the occasion of Zero Discrimination Day, as a part of initiative taken by principal Mrinalini Ma’am.
March 1st is Zero Discrimination Day, an annual worldwide event that promotes diversity
And recognizes that everyone counts.
The annual class celebration began online by the students of VI A with an eloquent prayer that expressed the role and life of a human being. followed by the impactful thought for the day, Let us all stand against hate on the zero discrimination day.
To prevent all the discrimination and inequality throughout the Global population United Nations Organisation, UNAIDS takes initiative to develop the social and economic status of people throughout the world by giving them knowledge about this concept of equality and so every year on the 1st day of March throughout the world Zero Discrimination Day celebrated. Highlighting this significance of the day a poem was presented by a student in a rhythmic way.
This was followed by some interesting facts about zero discrimination day.
Next was the presentation of the drawing by a student with the message, ‘End Inequalities’.
This was followed by a foot tapping dance performed by the students on the song, ’we are all one….’ Conveying the message that,’ We are all one, we are all connected. It’s our responsibility to make the world a better place, we can make a change.’
The enthusiasm of the students was overwhelming when some of them were called for recording and shooting of song and dance. On the online platform students have got the chance to display their talents and boost to their confidence.
