Founder’s Day Celebrations 2015

The Founder’s Day was celebrated on Saturday, , August 29th , 2015. On this day the Silver Jubilee song was released by the Principal Mrs. Nandini Charles. The programme began with the lamp lighting ceremony . The thought for the day was elucidated by a short play based on the life of Padmashri Dr. Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil. Through the play , the children were made aware of not only our founder father’s life and his work but also the qualities that we need to imbibe from him – by being industrious, simple, selfless rendering service to others. A melodious Hindi song highlighting the life of Padmashree was presented by the students of Std IX. The programme concluded by a thanksgiving prayer “Pasayadaan”

In the Junior block, Std III student presented a Powada based on the life of Padmashri Dr. Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil. The students went back to their classes and participated in the ‘Camlin Drawing Competition’

Pre-primary children assembled in the Multipurpose Hall, where students of Std 3 presented a “Powada” on the life of Padmashree Dr. Vithalrao Vikhe Patil. This was followed by a presentation of songs by Sr.KG Students.

To celebrate the occasion of Raksha bandhan, children made colourful Rakhis which were then tied to their wrist after applying the traditional “tilak”. Coconut Barfi and Karanji were given to the children to mark both the events.
