When a child cooks a new food on their own, they are more likely to eat it.
On 4th February and 18th February, the students of Jr & Sr KG engaged their day with refreshing lemonade drink and Sandwich making as a part of Month End Activity.
Children participated with great enthusiasm and zeal.
The objective of this activity was to explore their hidden talent and discover new areas of interest. On 18 th February, children prepared yummy sandwiches with butter, mayonnaise, slices of veggies like cucumber, potatoes and tomatoes.
Students were introduced to a range of basic cooking skills like mixing, squeezing, washing, peeling, chopping of vegetables.
It was good to see the students turning into little chefs.
When children say, “I made it myself”, they feel a sense of accomplishment that can help the child to become more self-confident.
