Visit to the Fire Station and Post office (Sr. KG)

Sr. KG students went for a field trip to Aundh fire station   and University post office on Tuesday, 30th August 2016. This trip was scheduled as the topic of community helpers was introduced to the children. Students learnt a lot of new things like the tools used by the fire fighters life jackets, hose pipes, ladder. They got hands on experience of holding the tools and wearing the jackets.

At the post office the students posted their postcards in the post box and then entered the post office where they saw sorting of letters, selling of stamps, envelopes, postcards and stamping of letters and parcels. The students had their snacks in the midst of nature and were back to school. They learnt a lot of new things in this field trip.
