Activity: Interhouse Dance Competition

‘Dancing is the poetry of the foot’. -John Dryden

The students of classes VI to VIII had an opportunity to showcase their dancing talents through an interhouse dance competition which was solo dance and group dance too.

The students were allowed to choose a song of their choice. The dancing styles that were showcased were contemporary, freestyle, hip hop and classical dance.

The objective of this activity was:
-To develop a graceful and rhythmic coordination of body movements.
– to motivate students to participate as it is a great exercise for fitness.
-to encourage students to participate in the activity and support their houses.

This activity was thoroughly enjoyed by the students who utilised their time and energy to their fullest. The event promised to be a fantastic showcase of talent and camaraderie.
