“ To assist a child we must provide him with an environment which will enable him to develop freely.”

Identifying a child’s interests helps to propose activities that support their interests. Children learn best not only by observation and imitation but also by getting hands-on experience.

Sorting, scribbling and palm printing are some of the common activities for small muscle development and a good pincer grip.

Students made a collage tulip flower which helped them in eye hand co- ordination. Matching of same color balls and sorting strengthen logical thinking, visual memory, and listening skills.

Gross motor activity of walking on same shapes which they have in hand enabled students to understand instructions, follow directions, and control movement. Rolling was also a fun gross activity. Outdoor play is one of the best platforms to explore the environment outside the classroom and an effective way of problem solving.
