Report Of Shishugeet Mahotsav (Inter School Singing Competition)
Music gives wings to the heart and takes it to the world of joy.
An Inter School Singing Competition was organized by Shamarao Kalmadi Highschool Pune On 21st July, 2023. Students of grade III participated in the competition. The theme was ‘Harmony For Humanity’ (Value Based song). The purpose of the competition was to bring out the singing talent of the students.
The students gave in their entries by 10th July 2023. Students prepared songs under the guidance of their teachers. The children sang medley of the songs- Imagine and Look for the Good. The song was based on peace, world without borders separating nations and without religion. Second song encourages to look good and positive in everything and everyone. They were dressed up in beautiful Rainbow Colored costumes and the logo of Humanity on there head band (by our art teacher Ms. Vrushali). Roshni Narlikar was on Violin and Vikhyat Nair was on percussion. Mrs. Vidhya S. accompanied on keys and Mr. Tanmay Matthew on Guitar. The judges for the competition were Ms. Shirley Manual and Ms. Aishwarya Kanikar. Our children performed with great courage and enthusiasm. Their innocent voices touched our hearts.
