Birth Anniversary of Padmashree Awardee, Late Dr Vithhalrao Vikhe Patil

Legends never fade; they inspire, guide and live on in the stories they leave behind.

On the auspicious day of Narali Pournima, a special assembly was held to commemorate the birth anniversary of the true visionary and legend, Padmashree Awardee, Late Dr Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil. The assembly was conducted by the students of Std IV D.

The special morning commenced with the prayer song, Atma Chintan. This was followed by, Dr Ashok Vikhe Patil, Chairman, Vikhe Patil Foundation and Dr Manoj Narawade, Trustee and Secretary, Vikhe Patil Foundation paying their respect to the statue of Late Dr Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil.

The comperes for the event, introduced the theme of the assembly and provided a brief overview of Late Dr Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil’s life and achievements. A thought-provoking quote related to education and empowerment was shared. Setting the tone for the celebration, the students of Std 9 and 10 presented an enthralling kathak performance.

The assembly further included the song, “How to Believe” which was presented by the students of Std 4 and 5. Through this song, they urged all to take inspiration from the life of the Padmashree and strive for excellence and be agents of positive change.

This was followed by a powada which presented key moments from Padmashree Awardee, Late Vithhalrao Vikhe Patil’s life.

Finally, our respected Chairman Sir, Dr Ashok Vikhe Patil shared with all his thoughts on the life and legacy of Late Dr Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil. He elaborated on the Padmashree’s vision for quality education and his revolutionary efforts in the agricultural sector.

In conclusion, the special assembly on the birth anniversary of Padmashree Awardee, Late Dr Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil was a meaningful and impactful event that celebrated his remarkable contributions and inspired all to carry forward his legacy of education, empowerment and positive change.
