Welcome to the Little Innovators Club, where creativity knows no bounds and young minds ignite the spark of innovation! In this dynamic and inspiring community, budding innovators embark on a journey of discovery, exploration, and problem-solving, through hands-on activities, exciting experiments, and collaborative projects. Our young members unleash their imagination and cultivate essential skills for the future.

The Little Innovators club have partnered with Lend A Hand India’s Karigar School of Applied Learning to conduct club activities at Karigar. Lend A Hand India’s Karigar- School of Applied Learning was established in 2020 as a skills hub to showcase a model for multi-skill vocational education. Training in skills such as carpentry, gardening and landscaping, fabrication, electrical works, automobile works, food preservation, baking, plumbing, and construction works is provided here through skill-based courses, workshops, and hobby classes.

The entire program offered at Karigar includes

Little innovators club members were divided into three groups and there was an introductory session and ice breaking game for the first club activity.

Each group were sent to the labs as mentioned above and they enthusiastically started working.

Group 1 – understood the various functions of the tools in the Engineering lab and started work on making a wooden table clock.

 

Group 2 – designed a lamp, made it and painted it.

 

Group 3 – learned about mobile app development and different types, listed the mobile apps known to them and developed translator and pronunciation apps.

 

By honing various skills, young people learnt to adapt to different situations, technologies, and environments, making them more versatile and resilient.
