TINY TASTEMAKERS (LITTLE CHEF CLUB)

                                   REPORT OF FIRST ACTIVITY

Highlights:

  • Renowned Chef Sai Kulkarni graced the session as the guest speaker.
  • She delivered an engaging presentation on table etiquette. She laid emphasis on the importance of proper dining manners. The students then had the opportunity to demonstrate their understanding by showcasing proper table manners during a simulated dining scenario.
  • Thereafter, the students were guided through the process of preparing two delicious dishes:
  1. Monaco and Potato Biscuit Sandwiches: Chef Sai Kulkarni demonstrated the step-by-step process of making scrumptious Monaco and Potato Biscuit Sandwiches. Students enthusiastically involved themselves in the process and prepared the filling for the sandwiches with zeal.
  2. Mojito Drink: Students learnt the art of making a refreshing Mojito drink after gaining insights into the ingredients required, preparation techniques and presentation.

The activity conducted on 27th April 2024 in Class VIIIB was a success. The session not only enriched students’ culinary skills but also instilled in them a greater appreciation for dining etiquette. Such initiatives contribute significantly to the holistic development and experiential learning among students.
