CLUB ACTIVITY REPORT FOR ROBOTICS CLUB 28 th January 2023

Level 1:Robotic Birthday Greeting Card.
– learn basics of electricity, circuit, conductors, LED etc
– study of the circuit
– applying the copper strip
– making connections with the LED and battery.
# Material used: copper strip, card with circuit layout. LED, battery, tape etc.
* As the card is closed the circuit is completed and the LED glows as the candle on the cake.

Level 2:JCB arm based on the principle of Hydraulics.
– Making markings etc. on the foam pieces.
– Assembling the set up using foam and nails.
– Adjusting the syringes and connecting them.
– Analysing the movements to be made and making required assemblies.
# Materials used: foam pieces, nails, syringes, stick tape, buzzer etc..
*As the syringes are operated the arms of the JCB move.

Level 3:Drum beating Robot using a double shaft motor.
– Making markings on the foam.
– Assembling the set up using foam and nails.
– Adjusting the settings.
– Completing the circuit.
#Material used: battery, switch, double shaft motor, nails, foam, tape, metal plate, metal rods etc
* As the circuit is completed, the motor moves, metal rods keep falling on the metal plate alternately and give the effect of drums beating in a temple.

Report of the sessions:

Level 1: Birthday card.
– Students made a robotic birthday card.
– Students learnt the making of a wireless circuit.
– They learnt the use of conducting materials in times of emergency.
– Students understood the concept of circuit, PCB, LED(structure, use and advantages), DC, AC, Conductors etc.

Level 2: JCB arm.
– Students constructed a JCB arm.
– They learnt the use of principle of Hydraulics.

Level 3:Drum beating Robot.
– Students made a working model of a drum beating robot

– They learnt about circuits and use of a double shaft motor.

Teacher’s feedback for Robotics Club activity on 22rd June 2019

Level1:
Students made a Robotic Birthday card and learnt various principles w.r.t electricity and circuits They enjoyed both activities with a better understanding of the underlying principles with a hands on experience.
Level 2:
Students made the model of JCB arm based on principle of hydraulics. They were very happy to successfully complete the models and make them work as they understood the principles better.
Level 3:
Students efficiently made the model of aDrum Beating Robot. They learnt more about circuits and use of a double shaft motor.
