A session on career talk was held on 28 th June 2023 for the students of STD IX. Ms. Manasi Raut, a professional photographer and Dr. Mohini Subhedar, a well-known veterinarian were the guest speakers. Both the speakers are an alumni of Vikhe Patil Memorial School.
Ms. Manasi Raut is the currently working as a Senior Manager. She described her journey in the field of photography to the students. She also explained to them the various courses available and the different possible career options in this field.
Dr. Mohini Subhedar is a companion animal veterinarian. She explained to the students that apart from possessing a love for animals, a veterinarian must also possess people skills and should be able to handle emotions while dealing with an animal in pain. She informed the students about the education opportunities and varied career opportunities available in the field.
Overall, it was an interesting and fruitful session for the students as they got to know about some off beat career paths from the expert professionals.
