The Helper’s Day was celebrated on Monday, 14th December in the school amphitheatre as part of the Month End Activity for November. The audience consisted of the staff and the students of VPMS. The special assembly dedicated to the helpers started with std. II and III students singing a prayer. Thereafter, a musical rendition to appreciate and thank all the helpers was sung by students of Std. II and III. Towards the end of the song all kakas, maushis, gardeners, housekeeping staff and the security guards were accompanied on the stage by the tiny tots. The tiny tots gave them a rose and held their hands on the stage. It was such a lovely sight!!!
The principal of the school Mrs. Nandini Charles felicitated all the helpers with a certificate of appreciation and spoke about how inevitable their work is towards the smooth functioning of the school. A few kakas and maushis also shared their heartfelt feelings that moved everyone to tears.
The helpers were in for a surprise when they were asked to participate in the game of musical chair. The students cheered their caring maushis and kakas. Thereafter all the helpers were given snacks.
